Nope, just trying to give the parent the best advice I can based on what they say and not having them believe their kid has to play in Mass to be some superstar.

To be the best you need to play against the best and unfortunately that is not what RI clubs offer.

In that case I would suggest you pack up your family and move to California, texas, virginia, new jersey, New York, Maryland, PA or other states depend on your kid age. New England is not for top flight youth soccer. However, if you are looking for player development and above average competition and training on the boys side, Bayside is one of the better club in NE. Consider RI is a small state, Bayside is well represent on the local DAP programs. In fact which club in the USA can claim they have 2 players on the Men's National Team.

Any twit who thinks he has to drive his kid to Massachusetts a couple nights per week at U10 to get quality skill development is just plain dumb. And, in terms of playing at bayside or Bruno you are competing against non-RI teams in MAPLE or NEP.

I don't understand why parents have such a hard on about three coaches in Massachusetts being the only ones who know how to develop players.

If the kid just gets good at footwork, dribbling, and shooting - everything else can be taught at an older age.

Everyone sucks when they dont' agree with you. If you want the best training then go to Ma. Does he have to NO but the Ma. coaches are much better.

That is what you get 1 practice a week at Bruno no specialized training but they do have a lot of fund raisers

Bruno is a joke. Why would they hire a coach who was fired from Bayside. But I'm sure the coach has told his U13 Bruno parents an entirely different story. Sad. He should just go away.
