LSA had wanted to scrimmage EWG but not sure if that will happen. Projo article today says that EWG is just now recovered from injuries so doubtful they would want to twist an ankle prior to facing the former D1 Scituate on Monday.

Lasalle is definately positioned to be upset with the layoff and playing Prout who is arguably the hottest team in D1 over the last 2-3 weeks.

I'll even pay Lasalle's $10 fee to go watch this one Saturday!!!!

Honestly at this point I think you'll see NK lose to BV, Smithfield lost to Portsmouth, and Lasalle lost to Prout.

On a side note. Have any of you noticed the correlation between loud mouth obnoxious coaches like the Westerly guy (among others) and players acting overly aggressive?

is there really much suspense in D2 this year? EWG vs Scituate? How exciting can that be. I do like Westerly over Pilgrim though, despite the loud mouth Westerly coach. Those two teams are mirror images of each other.

The value of a pre-playoff scrimmage is higly over ranked. No need for any team to risk the injurey and a few extra days of rest or practice is not so bad.

Nice article but the writer failed to realize that Pilgrim has the most talents in their division. Coaching is another matter. I will give the edge to EWG, they probably have the best coach and assistance coach in DII. Sometime good coaching can make an average team play above their capability. Both teams deserve to be in the final but we will see.

Both Barrington and SK are better head to head with them. I think Barrington is coming together at the right time to make a run.
