Both Barrington and SK are better head to head with them. I think Barrington is coming together at the right time to make a run.

Nice article but the writer failed to realize that Pilgrim has the most talents in their division. Coaching is another matter. I will give the edge to EWG, they probably have the best coach and assistance coach in DII. Sometime good coaching can make an average team play above their capability. Both teams deserve to be in the final but we will see.

On any given day any of the top 8 teams can all beat each other. It will come down to who plays best that day. Much more interesting then D2 in which EWG will win again.

I was at game, good first half with a slight edge to Prout on quality scoring chances, good physical battles in midfield.

Lasalle picked up pace in second but was still pretty even. Lasalle awarded free kick from about 28 yard mark, great placement GK probably should have done better deflecting up but went in ith about 20 left.

You could see Prout players deflate and game was over, Lasalle added another poorly played ball 10 minutes later.

Not sure Lasalle has what it takes after seeing them to make it all the way, frankly for the amount of premier players they have on roster, I was a little underwhelmed

Underwhelmed at the Smithfield game as well. I actually thought both teams could have played better but the fact that Smithfield nearly gave it away to the 9th seed--very surprised. Looks like Bay View was able to generate some solid offense and I have to say that I've seen them play and they may be the strongest team right now.

I was at the Smithfield game as well. I thought I was watching a Super Liga game.

I have seen Bay View a couple of time as well and they are a very well coached team-I think it will be between them and LaSalle for the Championship.

The talent that is supposed to be on the field I was told about last night for Smithfield for whatever reason isn't playing like it.

It could be the field too-it is in terrible shape. It also could have been the cold-why aren't these games played during the day this late in the year?

superliga level coaches equal superliga level play.... there is some great talent at smtfld however both of the coaches are clueless on what to do with it and to scared to just let them be creative on the field and play the game.... Some of those kids no more about the game then the coach!

This is pretty accurate throughout the league. Prout coach decided last night at Lasalle was a good time to put in a freshman who played entire season on JV into the lineup when down by a goal.

Not a sound coaching decision and certainly not fair to the player.
