I know the system, I know all the people involved well. I don't need to hit a book or google, I can just call them.

That would work if the talented players were playing in a league vs. other top players. Top players want to play against the best teams with top players. Where ever the players end up, the college coaches will follow. ECNL and DA offer the best leagues for many reasons, and that is why stable clubs left USYS for those leagues. Anything less is going far backwards, and families with good players won't stick around to play in a rec level league like USYS regional leagues, or a EDP type of league. Might happen with boys teams, but not with the girls.

PF should do the right thing and make the adjustments. PF needs to show they really do care about women's soccer.
Even with this being true, I happen to think the poster is correct, but i still think PF gets into the ECNL. The league wants the best clubs and will deal with leadership if they are an issue. I think you will see PF and NEFC get back in the league. Maybe even some new additions in the NE.

I agree. My kid played ECNL and GDA. The events allowed for many coaches to watch. They would not be watching if the talent wasn't there. And as another poster noted, they were at training sessions too (for both).
          Talent and reputable/quality club.

You are completely wrong about the TM comments and what ECNL thinks about him/the club. He is well liked at PF too.

PA Classics and SJEB have a great chance of getting into the girls ECNL. The location of each clubs makes sense for the league. Should be interesting to see what happens with the new Sporting Delaware club. Do they join the new MLS league or ECNL?

Sporting Delaware will do what they are told by the Union Academy. If there is even a Sporting Delaware after all this is over.

Exactly. Every league has championship bracket/top teams and those that don't get to post season.
                    Talent draws the coaches.

Move CS and TM over to the boys side, and allow the female coaches to take over the girls side. Showing a commitment to women that have a desire to coach would go a long way to getting back into the ECNL. It is really that simple. It's odd they didn't take that path from the start.
Seems PA Classics, SJEB and other clubs lack female leadership too. PF may not have adjusted, but neither have other clubs! FC Bucks hires a new DOC for ECNL and it is a man. No progressive clubs in PA!

H.E.R (Health and Education Resources) Platform. In an effort to encourage more female players to move into coaching and provide a meaningful experience during the current pause in play, the Elite Clubs National League Girls announced today that they will be offering scholarships for online coaching courses. ECNL players (past and present) and ECNL coaches are eligible to apply for the opportunity to participate in an online course of their choice, designed to improve knowledge of the game and further coaching skills.

The ECNL Online Coaching Education Scholarship Program is part of the ECNL’s mission to be More Than A League, part of the League’s H.E.R (Health and Education Resources) Platform, and an effort to support constant learning, development, and improvement in coaching and in the youth experience.

“We want to help coaches continue to grow and develop as leaders in the game, and in turn encourage female players to further their education and consider coaching in the future,” said ECNL Girls Commissioner Jen Winnagle. “It would be fantastic to see more and more women entering the coaching ranks in youth soccer. Through these scholarships we hope to foster interest among young female players and support young female coaches in continuing to credential themselves.”

The ECNL Online Coaching Education Scholarship Program will provide scholarships for eligible and accepted individuals to take one of US Soccer’s Grassroots Online Courses (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, or 11v11 online courses), or one of the many online courses offered by United Soccer Coaches in their eLearning Platform.

But not in any other league but ECNL and DA. If the league is low level, so are the teams and players within that league. Should be all levels for players, but this is a different ball game.

The Delaware club seems like it will be great for boys soccer. Whatever the league it's great for Delaware players!

What are you talking about? Exactly how many DOC's in all of youth soccer are there? Less than 5%...collectively.

There are low level teams and players in every league. That is the point.
Leagues should have relegation. Or divisions as to ability.
