No official announcement yet but there are rumblings from various sources claiming that US Soccer is shutting down GDA and then the boys side. Not sure if this is true as I’ll believe it when I see an official announcement. If true ECNL clubs could stand to benefit greatly. Can you imagine how many will be scrambling???

Or they go into another league to make it stronger. ECNL is too corrupt. Should have non DOC's of member clubs as Board.

Soccerwire says it’s only a rumor but that they even ran the story says a lot. if US Soccer plans to pull the plug now, players will have time to make other arrangements. I wonder if this is why FC Bucks changed DOC’s now. Lots of changes at Bucks. New president, new DOC. Timing is a little too coincidental, could they have an actual plan??? OMG, the world really has gone crazy!!!

Will be very interesting to see what happens. Right now ECNL is pretty weak in this area - is the talent there to support a third club - when the other two ECNL clubs are at or near the bottom of the ECNL?
