FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls

There once was a back room deal.
BB was at the wheel.
FF had no say.
Just collected his pay.
Sadly, our team now has lost its appeal.

Once again, there is no such thing as a backroom deal. Putting together a team takes work, and recruiting! Stop the BS and stick to the real issues. If FC Bucks want to stop the nonsense on this thread they need to fix the problems.

As for having a parent coach, it is wrong. As for RF allowing a parent to coach, he is wrong. As for the schedule being messed up at times because RF is a high school coach and then allowing a parent to fill in, it is WRONG...and it is wrong and wrong that the DOC at FC Bucks has done nothing to fix this problem, and the rest of the problems at the club. This team, and the club, can have a positive future if changes happen! Simple enough, it is time for a new DOC.

Once again there absolutely was a back room deal - when almost an entire team is picked before tryouts occur and before the coach ever saw any of the girls play - that is a back room deal. It goes far beyond recruiting a player here or there. This was take all of us or none - that is why the group came to bucks and not delco - delco wouldn’t agree to the deal. And this deal is a prime example of the lack leadership - because the leadership of the club(CF) was in the living room of JM’s and agreed to the deal. And once tryouts occurred it was obvious there was a back room deal as invitations were sent out after one tryout. It was apparent to all that girls were not given spots who were in fact better than some of the BRD girls. And if you think that didn’t hurt the team you are dead wrong. If the team had been selected fairly it would have been a stronger and more talented team. Three BRD girls ended up not returning the next year - but guess what the talent that was turned away originally did not come back - no surprise.

A real DOC would never have agreed to this deal. It ended up costing the team in terms of talent and reputation.

And also once again - change ain’t happin when the leadership of the club and the board of the club are the same.

PSA has perhaps the best track record of any tristate club in terms of placing players with major D1 programs...and they have now added some of the best coaches from CSA on top of an already great staff.

Personally - I view this person as trying to spread the word about the stuff that goes on at Bucks - guess we all see things differently - but for sure where there is smoke there is fire and bucks is burning . Buyer beware from what I’ve read.

Funny everyone I talk to in the small soccer world knows exactly what goes on at bucks and has gotten the message loud and clear to avoid bucks at all costs - I guess in the end tryout time will tell all.

The small soccer community knows this too. They aren't happy with ecnl-RL so they bash the clubs ECNL team. Its unfortunate. Why pose as ecnl parents. Why not be proud of your RL team and promote the team?
