I’m not saying it’s the parents that left either.

Give me a specific example of how this is being heard loud and clear. I call BS on that.

That was almost 2 years ago. 4 kids were cut the year after so kids that are currently on the team now have earned it otherwise they would have been cut along with the 4.

You are 100% correct but this is what this thread has been referencing, so go buy your daughter a participation trophy

Not an A licensed coach and that HS was successful long before the coach took over.

It’s so interesting to me how everyone is so obsessed with this team. This is obvious because of the 2,000 posts from people that either:
            1) never got over not making this team
            2) thinks some “parent asst coach” holding team/child back from the Pros

Either way the word is obsessed. Otherwise why the thousands of posts??

            Just an observation. Thank you.

Most kids stood no chance of making this team, bucks just took the money and ran. There were a ton of kids at the tryouts yet somehow a team was picked after one tryout! Can anyone say the kids not part of the deal were given a fair chance? Would love to see how the team would have looked if everyone was given a fair chance to make the team. Maybe they wouldn’t have had to cut anybody if the team had been picked fairly. The original deal turned people off from bucks and that is one of the reasons the team and club will struggle to attract new players.
FCB charges for tryouts?! If that is true, you are all stupid .... MAJOR RED FLAG THAT TEAM IS IN IT FOR $ RATHER THAN FINDING TOP PLAYERS!

                And a HS coach nonetheless.

Not for nothing, but if your kid was part of that back-door deal, it is going to come back to bite you. You lost talent you can't get back, you focused training on kids that will never get it, and you built a reputation that will repel any talent from ever wanting to be part of a team that is decided in a living room before tryouts (doesnt matter whether it is true or not anymore .... the word is out). Great for u-littles at the time, but most other teams have been busy re-tooling over the last 2 (and next 3) years ...... sounds like FCB '06 is stuck with what they got ..... here is how it plays out .... your cute little team probably was successful in their teeny little area beating Catasaqua Elite and Doylestown Xtreme .... but now you have to start playing regional teams from bigger metropolitan areas who are amassing talent. Your neighborhood team is in for beatdowns and will not get the D1 full boats you have been dreaming of. Your kids need to play with talent to pull them up, not push it away to be a top player on a noncompetitive team. Don't say you were not warned.

                    Oh it’s true.
And this post is the bomb! Perfectly stated.

This is the dumbest post I’ve ever read. Jealous much? Wow that absolutely oozed with jealously. Sounds like u wish you were apart of this team.

Jealous of what? Because their kid has to stand on her own and not get favors and have her daddy make deals with the coach to have her on the team?

Oh, and the previous post is dead on. Sorry, Charlie.

You’re proving my point without realizing it. Jealous because you are posting every day picking apart/analyzing a youth team. This team is always on your mind hence the daily posting by you and 1 or 2 others. Just you putting this much time into posting about this team everyday shows me that. Simple psychology.

Is this true of this past year? I know this was true when trying out last year (U13)

It is true. This team is living rent free in a few of these parent’s heads.

Yes 4 got cut, actually I believe 5 but one Offer email “got lost” and conveniently got found when other kids who were offered spots refused. They couldn’t cut any other players because they are down to 15, 14 with injured player. So no they have not all earned their spots. Just that kids from other teams did not want to come play for them.
