Were these “Core group of girls” chosen by your recruiter dad? Sounds to me like you knew a little too much inside information which tells me you’re in bed with the coach and the dad and paints the picture exactly the way this thread has painted it. It happens all the time in youth soccer but doesn’t make it right. Your girls aren’t being given the path to fail or even try hard. You clear the path for them. Very very sad. Dad should step aside and you all should let your girls stand on their own.

Not sure why someone wants either of these threads to continue. No one on either team thinks their child is definitely a D1 prospect. We all may hope it may happen. These trolls are getting ridiculous.

Good thing dad coach cancelled practice tonight, otherwise he would have ruined our 1x practice a week average. No reason was given. I’m sure the people who carry dad coach’s Jock strap for a living will claim it was raining. But the rain stopped well before practice. CR north turf was open. But hey we are freaking awesome so who needs practice.

It’s a small vocal minority who blindly support dad coach. Most parents are pissed and getting more pissed by the day as the incompetence continues and cancellations and last minute schedule changes continue to add up. We pay for 2-3 practices a week. We are getting 1. We pay for an A licensed coach. We get an unlicensed dad and a sleepy old man. How many parents are paying for additional training outside of the club because they are not getting what they paid for. As the ECNL bills ad up and continue to grow, how many parents will continue to stand for this and continue to fork over money for nothing.
