Because of this dad’s role in the “backroom deal” and his friendship with BB, his daughter plays where he wants her to play – Position X.
Point is, unless you undo the “backroom deal” and get completely rid of BB, and a passive RF who lets this stuff happen, this team will never live up to its potential and will fold within 1 year.

If the Club actually did this, you would substantially improve this team. As an unintended consequence, you might also improve the ECNL-R team as well. And girls would definitely learn some major life lessons that they could take with them beyond soccer.

Some will make it. Some wont. Those that make it will know they EARNED it. Those that dont make it will understand that if they work hard at improving, perhaps they can try again and will make it in the future. Today none of this exists. If you make this team today, you know it wasnt because you were necessarily good enough and there really is no incentive to work hard, and if you didnt make this team, you know that no matter how hard you train and how much you improve, you will never make it unless you have the right connection to the dad coach or to certain players. The result is that the entire age group is stagnating.

Anyone find it telling that none of these parents on this thread are defending the dad coach? This says a lot. Sorry.

This will certainly not happen...that was one of the reasons for the "backdoor deal"...parents didn't trust their daughters abilities and made the conscious choice to screw players that should have been on the team if the team had been picked on ability.

Another way to look at is that there was not a single CRUSA kid who was a "must have" where as Deep Run had 3 ior 4 kids who would have made any ECNL team in the conference. FC Bucks did the correct thing by keeping that team together.
(ps. When was the last time any of the CR schools have been relevent?)
Your team is now “relevant” but not in a positive way. Shame.

So get off your high horse and admit your daughter made it because you cheated for her.

Your daily insults to 13 year old girls and also the coaches and parents of this team are sad and probably why your daughters didn’t make the team. I was a coach in the past (not soccer) and I had to look over some kids because of their parents. Coaches don’t want to deal with disrespectful, nasty parents. YOU ruined it for your kid, no one else, which is something you’ll have to come to grips with.

So it is only natural that you would see complaints from ECNL parents on here about things like missed practices, dad coaching, and a checked out RF and likewise it’s not surprising that npl parents whose kids were looked over because of the BB led back room deal would pile on and post on here as well.
Read past months comments. It’s the same post written 30 different ways. Sad.
