most of the coaches at these events are D-III. Nothing wrong with that, but those are the schools that attend the EDP/USYS events.

And most of the bucks kids play D111 - looks like ECNL isn’t working to well for bucks - but agreed nothing wrong with D111.

Newsflash ..... Something like 80+% of all college kids go to school within 2 hour drive of their home.

80%? Athletes? I disagree. Only 5 on my kid's team stayed local.

Probably about right for my daughters team. I would expect that number to be far more off as you get up the ladder of too academic and/or top teams in a sport, but I would bet about half of all other colleges and sports (let's say after the top 40% or so) probably get closer to that number.

At least the EDP/USYS gets players looked at - no one looking at anyone from this team - players from this team would be lucky to get the opportunity to be a walk on at a lower D3 school - sorry to burst your bubble

Lol! If your dream is DI don’t waste time at bucks with a daddy coach - go to PF or delco where there is a higher probability of playing DI. DI scholly at bucks is a pipe dream. Good luck!

Figuring there will be no HS school soccer this year - hoping club still happens but doubtful. And the no HS soccer totally sucks - my kids were looking forward to playing together and competing for the state championship! Also figuring no way will BUCKS be going to CASL - really makes it tough for college recruiting.

Joey Baloney or Sistine Chapel Painter - one of you made the above post (both will likely have kids playing HS soccer together at Pennridge this year). We will make sure that DC and CM keep an eye on you two.

This '20-21 year is a wash. Out of state games/tourney are not going to happen. CASL/Bethesda cup obviously not going to happen now. There will not be spring ECNL showcases or tournaments. There could be some scrimmages with some local teams this fall and spring. About it.
