They can"t that is why they are going. The Philly region will be adequately covered by PDA South, Delco, and Fusion

The changes in personnel was not forced by the ECNL. The fact is the changes might actually speed up things. Despite all of Manella's faults he had a great relationship with the ECNL shot callers. The new guy already burned bridges at 2 ecnl clubs and was turned away from another in the past. He is not well regarded in the soccer community despite being Villanova's coach. In the big picture being Villanova's coach not that big of a deal.

Which I interpret as "FC Bucks is conforming to a list of ECNL ultimatums."
Self imposed requirement they/he made up. "ECNL teams must have college coach". Just a ploy to take care of his Nova assistants. As a LaSalle guy I'm not really thrilled with funding Nova's womens soccer.

Nova has one of the biggest rosters in this area's D1 schools. Someone has to help fund a team that big.

So sad to see DM on here posting. He’s like Louis Winthorpe, the character from Trading Places.

DM Is not posting on here - he doesn’t care about FCB - and never has. No way could he be bothered to post on here!

Valentine! Don’t worry your new DOC will work wonders until he moves over to the next club in the area in 1-2 years, Ukrainian Nationals make some room!

Serious question? What are the reasons he’s left all the other clubs? It really does seem like a lot of clubs in a short time.

this might be the only reason he stays at Bucks. Now he's the DOC he will earn more. But is he going to do a good job coaching at Villa, the 05's and being the DOC?

No one likes a player who hops clubs. Do people like a coach who does?

All of you are just hating on Bucks...you must be from an EDP club. The girls teams may not be at the top with PDA in the conference but there are some good teams. The 2004 girls are really good with a ton of talent and just this past March the 2005 girls tied the top FC Stars team that everyone loves so much. There is definitely room for improvement but these teams have talent and maybe all these changes will help change the culture. But very true that facilities still a major problem.

These new FC Bucks guys are saying all the right things, but should we start questioning whether a lot of it is bull****. For example, the new girls DOC and 2006 coach, DC sent an email to the entire 2006 age group saying, “For the time being there has been no formal announcement on the current (2019/20) playing seasons. We are still in a holding pattern. I know that Rich and John will continue to mentor each of you and offer the necessary attention you all deserve.”

Do they not know RF’s only communication with his team since the beginning of March was a 2 line email last week to say he no longer is the coach and wishing our girls well in soccer and life. RF Certainly is not a guy who is continuing (or ever) to “mentor each of you” and who is offering any of the girls on this team “the necessary attention you all deserve.”

on top of that the new DOC in an email to the club about new coaching assignments said, “We will surround our players not only with soccer coaches, but with role models and people who can influence lives positively and permanently.” Last I checked RF might be a good soccer coach, but I am not sure anyone would describe him as a “role model” or someone who “can influence lives positively and permanently”, yet somehow he was still given an FC Bucks team to coach next year.

I know these may not sound like a big deal, but when you are trying to establish some credibility, particularly at a place where there historically wasn't any, saying stuff like this thay obviously isn't true is not a good start

Patience young grasshopper. You can’t judge the new DOCs until next season when they have to deal with RF themselves. If nothing changes and they don’t do anything to fix it then it’s time to question them.

Fair point and quite honest, I could care less what RF does or how he treats his next team. Although it is a shame he will be permitted to con another group of players and parents.

But right now, and likely for the foreseeable future, all we have to go to on and make decisions whether we want to stay with FC Bucks are the new DOCs words and organizational decisions. And when they make decisions and say things that we all know not to be true, it does raise questions whether they are being honest and transparent with us, and whether they can be trusted going forward.

It really shouldn't have taken much more than a quick conversation between the new DOCs and RF or BB or any parent or player on this team to know that RF checked out a long time ago, basically said goodbye via email last week and won't be doing anything further with this team for the remainder of this season (virtually or in person).
