too hot to practice. are other clubs cancelling practice because of heat? At least the new coach can send his own emails out thru teamsnap and not thru BB. so at least we have that going for us.

Delco, and PF are practicing 3 nights a week per team. Must be nice for those kids

Should be a fun season getting our azz’s kicked by the teams that practice three times a week, same old story, different coach.

When the kids haven’t practiced in months they need field time - a zoom call doesn’t replace a practice. I may have to reconsider having my daughter on this team - August 1 is fast approaching not sure it’s worth the money and the chance soccer may not even happen.

Plan B!!!! and BB still has his finger on the scale - look at older age groups - FCB needs to get rid of BB and should not have sent invites out to specific team - invites for the club yes, 06 only age group that sent invites out for team - BB's doing - afraid his daughter wouldn't get an invite!!

Because they know parents are stuck on the ECNL label and will pay whatever is demanded. If your kid can play she will be seen. Doesnt matter what league she plays in.

Sorry but I don't remember the last time I saw a D1 college west of PA and south of Virginia at an EDP/USYS showcase. Great if you want to go to something relatively local.

Newsflash ..... Something like 80+% of all college kids go to school within 2 hour drive of their home.

All is not an indicator of soccer players. I'm sure that a lot of players apply to colleges that want to go but don't get the option because they can't get noticed. While USYS/EDP may be fine for getting noticed locally it is the other things like going to tournaments farther away or ODP/YNT that might get you noticed or the chance for certain schools to get a good look.

USC or Stanford aren't sending a coach to an EDP tournament to look at 1 or 2 players.

most of the coaches at these events are D-III. Nothing wrong with that, but those are the schools that attend the EDP/USYS events.
