Might as well go play EDP and save a lot of money bc your kid will end up at the same D2,D3 schools that the bucks kids do - but you will have saved yourself a lot of time and money.
Can you point to any signs of change at Bucks - because to me things are worse than ever with their pathetic lack of leadership and training during this crisis. It’s not just the 2006 team that has been given no direction - my kid plays on another bucks team and her team hasn’t done anything either.

Based on the irrational behavior displayed by parents on this board unfortunately ECNL is not an option for us. EDP it is, and it is actually fun.

If playing for fun with your friends is the goal, play EDP, if playing for fun with your friends and college is the goal, play ECNL or DA.
Facts: FC Bucks ECNL and EDP are sending kids to the same colleges D2,D3. So your statement is hogwash plenty of EDP kids will play soccer in college - right along side of the Bucks ECNL kids and because the EDP kids have actually been developed and trained properly they will be the ones starting.

In contrast, 52 .... yes 52! PA coaches slated to go to this year's Jeff Cup:

Granted many are D3, but still more D1 and D2 coaches from PA at Jeff Cup than ECNL Phoenix. Again, why paying so much to play 3 games out west ... twice!
52 at Bethesda: https://events.gotsport.com/events/c...?EventID=72815
Potomac (Low level) has 18 PA coaches (looks like almost all D3): https://events.gotsport.com/events/c...?EventID=72815
Manhattan KOC had 14!: https://events.gotsport.com/events/c...?EventID=72815
DO you see where I am going with this? Let alone all of the other local states. If your kid wants to go to Eastern Montana, go to a tournament in SOuth Dakota or Montana, but if they want to go to school closer to home, it's a good bet those coaches will be at a local tournament (even the smaller ones) ... and it is way cheaper.

If you are a top EDP team and doing national league you are flying to florida and vegas, and most likely to one or two of the following: Disney, surf cup, vegas showcase or dallas cup. If you are are not doing NL and are really good you are doing 2 of those tournaments plus a bunch of others. If your team isn't interested in those things of course it's cheaper. My kid has bigger goals and playing only in the EDP, EDP showcases, Jeff Cup and local tournaments aren't really in her best interest.

See what I mean?

A great turnout for the local showcase from Feb. 2020. Great bang for your buck.

Here are the facts - If you are a top player (at a national level) at FC Bucks and you really believe your kid has a shot at decent D1 school, chances are you are leaving FC Bucks to got to a club that actually commits kids to D1 schools and has a college development program (i.e., PDA). If you are a decent player, and are angling more towards a bottom level D1, D2, or D3 school, you are statistically no better off at FC Bucks ECNL than top level EDP. team. If anything you are better off financially at a club that costs less, and are better off at a club that has coaches with connections at these colleges and has a college development director or someone in charge of college recruiting.
