FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls

facts of the day:

The 2006 fc bucks ecnl team has practice last night indoors on a mild february night - sharing a gym at george school with other bucks teams - no reason they shouldn’t have been outside getting ready for jeff cup.. That all being said at least rf showed up last night at george school

the rl girls had practice last night outside on the cr north turf. Their coach looked at the mild february night and moved them outdoors rather than keeping them inside at a small gym.

Facts take them how you will.

The question still remains as to why isn’t there some kind of club wide directives as to where the teams would practice .

No need to bash and trash anyone. If you and your kid were happy with what their team did for practice - that’s all that matters

They only cancel if it's extrem weather and go inside as a back-up plan. These clubs training sessions are not schedule by thier coaches, they are scheduled by the doc!!!! The ecnl and ecnl r is porrly run at fc bucks!!! The club needs to be run as a club, and not single teams!!!! Again, the 06 team coaches should be selecting better venues based on weather, but it should never have been left up to the coaches in the first place!!! This is why fc bucks are a mess!!! It is true even my kids EDP club has been training outside all of winter on turf. When I read what goes on at bucks makes me happy we never pursued it - seems like we are getting a lot more for our money at the EDP club.

I don’t think anyone’s blood pressure is being raised - people really just want what they pay for. Professional coaching, feedback, and regularly scheduled practices at least twice a week. Maybe if they charged us half of what we pay and didn’t have us travel all over the place no one would care that we have a dad coach and practice once a week with no feedback, the team is run like a rec team but with the price and travel commitment of ECNL.

I don’t think anyone’s blood pressure is being raised - people really just want what they pay for. Professional coaching, feedback, and regularly scheduled practices at least twice a week. Your level of care is off the charts and it does sound like your adding way too much stress over something that matters so little in the grand scheme. Again it’s youth soccer. If you aren’t getting what you think you paid for then like anything in life, move on and find something better.

Nope, not allowed they would go to the same HS as BB's daughter.....and most of them probably work harder than our team because their team didn't have a BRD

This forum is a way to vent frustrations and gather support to oust the father coach (who snuck his way in to that position) and the head coach. Moving on is not that simple. In other "things in life", if I pay for something and am given something else that wasn't expected, I can simply get my money back. Here, FC Bucks won't give you your money back, even though I purchased and was promised ECNL and am instead getting rec league travel.

BB doesn't want anyone who will go to his daughter's HS to be able to say that they are on the ECNL team...another way that he is keeping his finger on the scale for his daughter. His daughter is the only one that is listed officially on the ECNL team while at the same time we have used guest players from the RL team that should have been on our team but not given a spot because BB doesn't want his daughter to have competition when it comes to him not being the "coach"

Well in 2 months the season is over. So then it will be easy to move on.
