FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls

I didn’t understand it either. I think the main poster in here assumes only people from the RL or ecnl teams comment in this thread.

Here are the facts on the 2006 FC bucks 2006 ECNL team

Team was chosen in a back room deal in the living room of JM before tryouts ever took place. Club agreed to form the team giving 11 of the 13 FC Bucks north girls spots on the team plus BB’s kid and her friend.

Team is coached by RF - an A licensed coach who at one time was a very good coach he is completely checked out and is really a figurehead and has ceded all decisions to BB.

Team’s real coach is BB technically the “manager”. But he is really the one calling all the shots - he is a parent on the team and he has no professional coaching credentials- he was one of the architects of the back room deal

BB is also on the board of directors of the club so there is no avenue for parents to complain hence the reason this thread exists.

Team basically practices one time a week and had no regular practice days in the fall.

Team has a roster of 15 or 16

Team is ranked 93 in the nation -according to youth soccer rankings .

Team is in 5th out of 7th in the division of the North East conference . Overall in the north east conference they would be 12 out of 15 teams. Team scored 5 goals in the entire ECNL season and allowed 8. Team is in a lower place than last year, and tied and lost to teams they beat last year.

The club has sent out surveys and is holding a town hall meeting to gauge members satisfaction with the club

I’m a PSC parent and this sounds like a successful team. That’s a high national rank. However the team was put together and regardless of who it’s coached by the team sounds successful. Which is the end goal of any sports team. So this team has worked out. No need to complain.

I wouldn’t waste your time on a successful team. There thousands of teams out there that wish they were this successful.

Truth! Team is on a downward trajectory.

They are a pretty good local travel team and if they played in PAGS would do very well, too bad they play in ECNL and had one win this fall.

If your kids goal is just to play in high school then this team is fine, if D1 college is the goal you should find another ECNL team, because training once a week and being coached by a dad won’t get your kid ready for the rigors of D1 soccer, that’s a fact.

So it really all depends on what your kids ultimate goal is as to whether this team is the right team for her.

The carrot of ECNL is the chance to play D1 soccer, therefore that is the reason most kids play ECNL so they can maximize the chance for D1. There really is no reason to play ECNL if your kid doesn’t want to play D1. The fact is this 2006 FC Bucks team is not preparing the kids for D1 soccer.

Call what u want. I am psc parent. This is a good team with a great ranking. Can’t argue with that fact. Must be coached pretty well and practice enough to have that ranking.

If the website was going to do that - they would have done it months ago when tommy and co, were cyber bullying the bitter, scorned women. Many tried to get the thread taken down months ago when the bu,lying was at its worst, to no avail. Nice try though.

I’m a FC Delco parent and I love the 06 Bucks team great group of girls and parents.
