I know it makes you feel better to put on your blinders, put your fingers in your ears and try to convince yourself that everything is wonderful on this team, but that is. It reality. I promise you my kid is on this team and there are several that agree with some or all of the issues raised on this thread but for one reason or another don’t feel comfortable going public yet.

U have to be kidding? U do realize it’s youth soccer. I’m not trying to be a jerk but why don’t u leave then? I know for me and some others we would rather u downers leave the team then have to put up with your whining all year. Just being real with u

Mama Sheep: you say “it’s just youth” soccer as if we are paying $250 a year for intramural mini league. When we pay in the thousands of dollars a year for our daughters to play in this league, we expect to get what we pay for.

A friend of mine always missed our get togethers because he had the flu. Turned out he was battling cancer. He didn't beat it. We miss him a lot.

So, maybe the flu is just a way of saying there is another more serious issue going on. People need to keep their dignity too. Remember it's more than just soccer in life.

I went to our coaches meeting and it’s nice we have a coach that actually cares about the girls well-being and wants to keep it fun so they stick with the game since many girls quit when it stops being fun. Not one person had any complaints (not one) which says all of the negative things said on here were by trolls and parents of the kids who were cut. This is what I thought and got confirmation of that tonight. The parents on this team are pretty cool once we subtracted the troublemakers.

So when you read the negative stuff that I’m sure will follow this post, know it’s ALL by former parents of this team who want to start trouble, trolls, or just bucks haters. Know it’s just miserable people being miserable.

Because it would be better for my daughter and all of our daughters if the club did the right thing and fixed the real problem. This specific team is the best fc buck ecnl team and has the most potential and the club is doing what it does best - failing to show any leadership and failing to fix easy problems that just don’t exist at any club or even on other teams in our club.

What is the easy problem that is not being fixed?

The biggest one - a checked out coach who’s only there to collect a check who has ceded all responsibility to an unqualified conflicted dad assistant. Audrey would be a godsend for this team. She wouldn’t put up with the dad assistant bull**** and she’d actually do a better job a developing our girls. You fix that not only do our girls become better soccer players but other top talent may actually want to play on this team.

I’m pretty sure that this post and all other posts like this one that say everything is wonderful is just the Dad Assistant posting.
