FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls

So my original post from earlier today has the coach telling the girls about the site. Simultaneously threatening them that they will be cut if their parents continue to post. (Yes, I went back and read most of this thread.) The main problem with the parents besides their bullying is that they did *nothing.* This guy should be fired. Period. Why haven’t you parents spoken up?

And as far as this other dad coach, why isn’t he listed on your team’s page as a coach? I asked this question yesterday. Apologies for repeating....

Ok “outsider” aka Bucks defender. You are not fooling anyone. Most of the posts on here are critical of the coaches and club. Yes, sadly a few people have posted about the kids and that’s not right. But that is also one of the many pitfalls of having a dad coach. The perception is what it is.

And I don’t think having fixed tryouts, a dad coach, and the lack of a consistent training schedule are a parent problem.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinions.

Complete opposite BB being the coach encourages “entitlement” for his daughter and her friends. She doesn’t work hard and lags behind when running, etc.

My bad. That was a typo. I didn’t mean to type “doesn’t” it was supposed to be “does”. As in he totally creates a sense of entitlement for his own daughter. 100%

But if you go back and read this thread you will see that the MAJORITY of posts do not talk about the girls. And I wish I could say zero posts mentioned the girls.

You would think the vocal mom who is so upset her daughter is reading this would have spoken up - as it was her daughter who posted pleading with the parents to please stop posting because she didn’t want anyone to get cut.

The dad coach isn’t listed bc the club doesn’t want to advertise the fact that they have a non professional parent coach on an ECNL team - that doesn’t really attract talented players.

I think the coach was correct. Best way to crack down on the parents is through the players.

Posting informative items works. Like blank and blank is having a sale on (brand name) cleats. Sale ends #. TS is a good tool if used correctly.

This is extremely ignorant. Why would you think it’s ok to involve children in your gripe with their parents. And scare the sh*t out of them in the process. This mom’s kid now is knee deep in reading this and she shouldn’t be taught that what her coach did was right. I can only assume you are not a parent, or you are, but you’re just as scared of this coach as she is.

In any other world, RF would have been immediately fired and never permitted to coach children again. But not at Bucks. Apparently at Bucks you can be fired and removed from a team and several years later when they think no one is around that would remember, you can get hired again to coach children. Yes. RF has been fired and removed from a team before. If this doesn’t bother you or you simply don’t care, then you are not being a parent. How many of you have been fired from your jobs for doing something inappropriate and then got rehired to do the same exact thing by the same employer a few years later.
