FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls

Most of the parents are good people, however ALL the parents feel the same. This isn't a good situation, and if it gets worse we will end up not having a team. I know first hand what happened the past two years with the older teams, and it wasn't good! They didn't have enough kids for practice and had very low numbers for games. Nothing better than traveling to FSA and CFC for a weekend of soccer and not have enough girls. It is not worth the time and money. The lack of numbers was caused because of similar problems at the club, the same stuff going on now. All I am saying is if you think this is bad now, it can get much worse if something isn't done to fix the problem. If the goal of your daughter is to play college soccer, then that goal is hurt if she doesn't have other girls that share the same goal. The girls that want to train hard to get better, and to play college soccer, will leave. This has been the pattern the past few years. Just ask coach JM if it's true. His PA Strikers teams were almost all FC Bucks kids. Delco, Match Fit, PDA and Penn Fusion all had FC Bucks players on their rosters the past few years, all from the same two or three FC Bucks teams. If things were good at Bucks none of those people would have left. Fix the problems now, or else it will get very bad later.

The writing is on the wall this 2006 team will go down the same path as the older bucks teams. And this team has the added problems of a bad reputation that includes back room deals and a dad coach. If people were smart on this team, depending on where they live, they would leave and get more value for their money at places like Delco, Penn Fusion, or PDA. If your daughter is interested in playing in college, your are more likely to achieve that goal at one of these clubs than at Bucks.

These girls are not professionals and they shouldn’t have to deal with all the constant criticism and over analysis of them and their team on the Internet for all to read. The philly eagles don’t even get this much criticism daily.

Why, so your kid can get even more undeserved PT?? I know you love the current situation since you think your kid is benefiting from it, but I assure you, the damage will rear its head in another year or two and you will be out searching for another team (cast aside or sick of the underachievement).

Ive actually seen very little criticism of the actual girls on this team. I think the closest anything has come to criticism is people making comments about the backroom deal and not all girls earning and deserving their spots on this team. Quite frankly – the girls have no one to blame but their own parents for this. And if they learned of this via this board, then shame on parents for not being honest with their kids and letting them believe something that was patently false to begin with. The reality is most of the criticism on here revolves around the coaches and the club.

Can we assume you confronted the parent who bullied another parent incessantly on here for month? Did you tell them your kid is reading this and you are horrified? MOST of what is posted on here, the teens don’t need to read they are LIVING it. They see the favoritism, the lack of rewards for effort, the calling out of teammates. It’s all the truth so it’s nothing they don’t know.

And I find it ironic that u are so quick to call everyone a bully, but yet have zero problems with a dad coach who lies, manipulates and schemes to get the players he wants for his 12 year old youth soccer team. And u also appear to have zero problems with a coach who calls out and threatens his team. Very hypocritical of u me thinks.

Lastly, maybe if u stopped posting people would stop replying and then your daughter would have nothing to read. Simple really.

Think about it if you think BB is a liar, manipulator, schemer and in many ways a bully, what do you think his daughter is learning...the only way to get ahead is to lie, scheme, manipulate and bully your way in...the apple does not fall far from the tree

That’s a bit harsh. But BBs presence doesn’t create a sense of entitlement in his own daughter. That is for sure. It creates a situation where she knows she doesn’t have to work as hard as the next player whose dad isn’t a coach. Same with tryouts.
