FC Bucks 2006
To bad RF and BB feel like they are above everyone by not putting enough kids on the team and then force kids to guest play for them and in turn try to interfere with the other FCB teams. if they wanted those guest players on the team they should have just offered them a spot instead of messing with the other team and trying to ruin their cohesiveness

FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls
This is more about the blatant disregard that RF & BB have for other teams within their own club. They made a "backroom" deal a couple of years ago, keeping talented players off the ECNL team, which won the President's Cup and Region 1, they now are constantly pulling those players who were cut up to the ECNL team because they have at least one player that is hurt, which in turn hurts the ECNL-RL team when the coach is trying to come up with a line up & game plan for upcoming games and tournaments. RF & BB should have had these girls on their team so that both teams could be more successful. Interestingly those players that are pulled up are friends of BB and he is so blind to any talent on the ECNL-RL team that the parents of the ECNL team think everyone on the ECNL-RL team has no talent, which is not true if you look at the individual players.

If the club had any interest in fixing this mess and saving the entire 06 girls age group – both ECNL and ECNL-R, they would move to a player pool for the entire age group. Let the players compete week to week for a spot on the top team. For this to actually work you would need to get rid of BB, since his presence and his favoritism for his daughter and her friends goes against the idea of week-to-week competition. Switching to this model also helps when coaches aren’t able to make training sessions. Obviously the club wont do anything like this, and instead the club will continue to allow BB to ruin the entire age group which will result in people leaving both teams.

Talented girls from within and outside the club were left off the original team due to the backroom deals that occurred. My daughter was from outside the club - never given a chance at tryouts bc team was already picked. Word spread quickly about how the team was assembled, starting with the meeting at the deep runs parent house with CF, FF , and BB all being present and making the deal. That deal is coming back to bite them. We and many others in the local soccer community would never consider bucks again. Really a shame as the team could be incredible had it been fairly picked from the beginning.
Our goal was to keep the FC Bucks North team together. We were one of the top ranked teams and wanted to keep that going as we made the switch to ECNL. With a couple of exceptions, it was a typical “all or none” deal. The club agreed. Before tryouts were even held, it was decided that the team would include 11 FC Bucks North Players and Brian’s daughter and her closest friend at the time from her previous team – meaning 13 of the 18 roster sports were already chosen before tryouts ever occurred. While there was legitimate competition for the few remaining spots on the team at tryouts, the truth is that there were several players from both within the club and from outside of the club that showed up at tryouts that were better than some of the “chosen” players that were part of the “deal”. We were successful in keeping everyone together, but unfortunately this deal kept this team from being the best it could be. And today it still keeps people away from this team, as people, rightfully believe, that this team is largely picked before tryouts are ever held.
