Rich Finneyfrock - the soccer coach? He’s a *****. My daughter’s friend played for him years ago and he was fired that same year. What about him?

A child's age on July 31st is his/her age for the entire season. So if your son turns 10 on August 1st, he will still be considered a 9-year old for registration purposes.

Since age and weight specifics are important in deciding a child's football division, Pop Warner establishes a player's age for the season as "his or her age as of July 31st." After the second game in the season, a player is allowed to gain up to a pound a week to a maximum of nine pounds total for the year.

Added this as there was some confusion about the name of the thread by our panther boys football parents.
