Just send a text to the coach with a pic of your bank statement.

I was putting together a highlight video of my kid from her ECNL games. It's tough, there's a roster of 22 players and she only gets 30 minutes a game. She plays outside, so she runs up and down a lot and gets 1-2 touches chasing after long balls before is subbed again.

If I catch the angle just right, and blur everything out, highlight just her and play with the speed a little, it will catch someone's eye. I just know it.

I may try to market her as the team manager. I have a lot of her milling around the water jug and fetching balls. Do they offer a scholarship for that? I'm hoping to get an ROI on the $5k I spend a year, so after four years I'm hoping to see $20k coming back in scholarship money.

Interesting, I figure I spend close to 40K over 7 years, and she quit after she got her scholarship!!

No need to put together a highlight video if she plays on an ECNL team, dozens of coaches have already seen her-yes, even if she plays 30 minutes a game.

Oh, that's great to hear. I was worried about that. We're actually glad we started playing there. Most games, we don't even need to wash her uniform so we are saving money on laundry.

I'm sorry to hear your family has fallen upon such hard times that you have to calculate the cost of washing your little girl's soccer uniform. Sending good vibes your way and hoping your family recovers asap :)

My D had many great clips to show, both on Sports Recruits and Hudl, and it worked, she got a 75% scholarship offer, which she accepted, but then quit....

My D did’nt have to wash her uniform much, since she was so good it hardly ever got soiled, and it worked, she got a 75% scholarship offer, which she accepted, but then quit....

Not looking for your sympathy. The cost of this club is a heavy burden on us but we love to watch her interact with her teammates. I just know it will be worth it some day when we get that scholarship.

My D club was expensive too, and she loved to interact with her teammates, and it worked, she got a 75% scholarship offer, which she accepted, but then quit....

We get it, you raised a quitter. No need to keep bringing it up.

Based on your incessant posting, my guess is you're a really crappy parent whose D probably wanted to quit playing looooooong before she did, but was afraid you wouldn't love her anymore if she did...

Ha! NYSC start loading up those rosters yet? We made it up to 23 on our NYSC team last year. Why do you think the teams crumbled apart? It wasn't only the DA issue.
