No she’s having surgery this spring and Penn State has already decided to Red Shirt her. The next year she will step in as the starting goalie if all goes right. And she’s a US citizen now so....

Classic. so a year ahead after surgery she projects as the starter ahead of another YNT kid. OK...only in America.

the level headed thing to say is, she is having surgery and red shirting. she will then compete to earn a role on the team.

people here have no clue how competitive it is. for all you know, the other kid may play her way into the starting job. But that would not jive with your agenda now would it .
