They still don't have fields to call their own.
They still don't have any homegrown teams.
They still don't have access to the higher leagues.
They are spread all over the place instead of concentrating on one area.
And to mask all of that they keep adding meaningless names to the masthead.

Sorry. NY Surf sold themselves as the East Coast equivalent of SD Surf. Alluded to getting ECNL and GDA status.
When NY Surf can do this, then conversations can continue:

Hilarious. if you put more kids into a Club who have talent and ability. what comes out the other end will be the same thing. PDA are a VOLUME Club. They get players from a wide area. Good for them. What they DO with those players is not different really to what would happen if many of them stayed where they were.
So when you say do this- I applaud the kids , the Club is jsut taking credit for it.

One would think the Surf players would have no problems finding a college spot given the litany of college coaches they employ.

What impresses you, the quality of the schools ( for soccer) or the numbers? I reckon that if you took the percentage of kids with say top 100 talent on entry to a club and followed them , you would see that MOST Clubs get them committed to Top 100 schools.
if a kid goes to PDA who is already committed ( which happens) they what? DO you measure the Clubs impact some other way?
A single player can be part of creating that environment for a Club or they can run off to another. Most parents think the latter is better. Im not so sure. Depends on teh level you are looking to reach.
