LM said Surf teams are going to play in EDP NPL.

How does a team go from EDP 2nd Division to NPL?

Well, that one team is already EDP. The question is where do the rest of the Surf teams play.

Info is all on BOTN - The majority will play in EDP NPL, a few in NYCSL, and a few young teams in Westchester Premier.

The info is not on BOTN in any official sense - just people posting 'I heard this' and "i heard that'. LM chimed in after one of them giving some information also but it was very generous.

For sure, they are not entering any super elite leagues.

The WYSL 'Premier' division is just an attempt to keep the WYSL Division 1 teams from having to drive to eastern long island to find games. It's a nice effort but they tried this a few years ago with a MAPS representative but it didn't go anywhere.

White Plains is listed as a founding member but their best 'A' teams will be in Gary's Metropolitan League.

Yeah, because vague statements like that are as clear as mud.

Ouch, Larry is no longer responding to questions about KK being Surfs official feeder club anymore. That's pretty much confirmation that the KK/Surf relationship is kaput.

Need to question the leadership of SUSA and Surf. These are organizations supposedly run by professionals. Too many mistakes.

When something is too good to be true ... It probably IS. This certainly applies to Surf

By all accounts San Diego Surf is run very well by professionals. What we have here is a Surf franchise, not the parent company. And yes, this franchise is getting off to a terrible start.

Yes I should have put NY in front of Surf. NY Surf smells real bad ... Too good to be true

That's not accurate - the league links are all there on BOTN and they all show Surf teams in EDP, NYCSL, and WPL...

Nah that's not confirmation of anything and your queries are not even worth the courtesy of a reply - you're obviously not a member as members know exactly what's going on. Why do you continue to stir the pot?

The way NY Surf was promoting themselves I thought they were going to try for ECNL status in addition to the GDAP.

Frankly NYC needs one. The outlying areas already have one but its too far for the boroughs. But I don't think NY Surf can pull it off for awhile, if at all.
