She's a non-factor on the GDA app. They want USSF A & B licenses. It's probably why she's coaching the old Alby 07 team.

Three legit questions for readers:
1. Are you at a club that cuts players?
2. Does anyone know of any Alby or EM players who started at the club at a young age and went all the way through (e.g. develop their own players) or do these clubs take on new and cut old?
3. Does your club take on new and cut old?
(you can see where I am going with this in terms of Surf...)

Only think I can think of is that the president and board have put up the money so that they can lure good players in. Either that or the model I suggested.

However, being a college coach, or even a highly licensed coach, doesn't mean they are a good coach or good for a certain age group, or more importantly a good fit for your kid.

Sounds like a good thing all of these scholarships - I agree with you that no one loses with scholarships...kids win.

It's the same at the college level. America is so focused on discounts that they don't see they are still paying $$. Surf will determine who they want to charge each person. The cash cows who pay full price will make up for the "discounts"'(scholarships). In the end, Surf still makes $$.
