Listen buddy -if you are a PDA coach LISTEN UP: we are mainly PDA parents on here angry with what is happening. Things have changed this year, teams not winning, new players, no chemistry. ITS A MESS period.
I second this. A total disaster. Very disappointed. I don’t know how it had been but I am very disappointed. Al recruiting. The training was against the most basic rule: no players should be idle and wait in the line.

You are funny. I guess you are totally cool paying $3K+ a year and watching your D’s playtime getting cut when new players keep getting added throughout the season. I bet it it totally reasonable for you to see players trying out week after week during the practice and taking away the time you paid to the coach.

              Ouch!

Agree, it should be the rare occurrence that kids are added mid-season. Tryouts are for a reason.

                  Funny but mostly fake

First year PDA parent here. Most of the stuff on here is not true. It's true that the rosters are always topped off and I have to admit that was one of my concerns. In the end this has pushed my D to work hard and improve in the areas where she is not strong. Her level now after 6 months is at it's best and this would not be possible had we made a different choice. Some girls from the previous year won't be returning and that's a sad fact because they are all very talented but that's part of the package. We knew the deal when we signed up and we were prepared to walk away in 6 months if it didn't work out, fortunately it did.

Are you paying for play time or for development? I'm a strong believer that time on the field should be earned.

That sounds right, my daughter had the same attitude after a season. She knew what she signed up for beforehand and it has so far worked out. You want the truth, well that’s the truth!

Sure playtime should be earned and it is when players compete within the team to get better.
Are you saying a player showing up mid-season, starting the game, and getting 70% of the playtime one week after she joins is "the development"?

What did PDA do to develop this girl? Enlighten me.

Good for your daughter. Hope she gets to keep her spot until the next girl comes in mid-season after you paid everything. I am sure you can afford joining another club when things don't work out with PDA mid-season.

If she is better than those that she is starting over, that's just the nature of the beast.

PDA will never stop recruiting kids to replace his daughter. PDA has no loyalty to anyone other than the next paying customer.

They are loyal to players developed by other clubs and they have no faith in players they are "developing".
