She is Heading to Duke this this fall on a partial scholarship. We are so proud of who she has has become as a person, player but more proud of overcoming change and adversity. What she developed was grit, adaptability and acceptance. It’s terribly hard while in it but trust us the grass IS greener on the other side.

Many PDA players are training endlessly, six or seven days a week, in and out of the club. I don’t know when and how they find time to make up their school work. That part always puzzles me as our district is very competitive academically.

League is not important. As long as the kid is happy and enjoys playing soccer. Playing soccer is more important then seating on a blue bench. Playing 5 minutes a game out of state against another ecnl low level team is not soccer.
