I doubt she was trying to hurt her but unfortunately physical intimidation its becoming part of the game now and the refs are allowing it. It is a natural progression when the pushing, holding and straight arms are not being called....players will push the limits and many times its the reaction and frustration of being fouled all game with no calls ....that leads to this.
I believe it is lowering the level of soccer in our area...so when teams travel to play in other areas of the country and the games are called by the rules...our teams don't do so well....

This is youth sports at U15 girls level.
Context and perspective are needed.
Today, FIFA is promoting “fair play” at highest levels, across competition. There was punishment of the Bulgarian National team recently, and in the Nations League, due to Mexican fans’ behavior, there may be punishment.
Expectations at youth level should be even higher, these are our future leaders!
Welcome to the game!

Was the player given a Red card? That is a big problem in youth soccer, games are not called to rules. If a player deserves a yellow to red, they should be given. It is how you learn.

I’ve seen GK taken off fields in ambulances and over the top dirty play.
No reds, no yellow, not even a foul.

Let me get this straight, your debating an incident that happened at a division of the club 3 hours away. You know nothing about the incident other than digging around Facebook posts, you know nothing about the people involved, you know nothing about the coach himself and yet you are calling for him to be put on leave? This is exactly what is wrong with our country.

It’s actually 30-40 min away from the NJ line so not that far. That club travels to the area to play games in Bergen so it is related imo.
