I do agree with that. I would have to see the actual video to comment on his behavior. I have refrained from assuming what I have read here is accurate. I agree people have mob mentality in this country right now.

Lots of people have witnessed agressive dangerous fouling that goes without consequences and players get hurt. It the ref won't stop it than the coach should step up and bench the player.

You must be from CSA. A few days ago, on CSA site, friends, family members, relatives of the 14 year old girl who had her nose broken and concussion, responded on the CSA Facebook site. CSA put out an “apology”, which it really wasn’t, and deleted a large number of the comments. I am not an IT person, so don’t know why some comments remain.

There was lots of information pre-CSA clean up. The father also removed some pictures depicting his own daughter, so my guess is that there will be legal action.

To say people here are guessing is wrong, because if you are coming into the situation now, today, much information has been removed.

I’m not from CSA. I actually did witness a young girl break her nose on the field at a tournament. It was hard to see what happened and how, the player on the opposing team was getting screamed at by the parents and berated for breaking the girls nose. It was a horrible thing to watch. Everyone wanted to blame someone immediately. Everyone was defensive and it was all around bad. If the parents want to take legal action, let them. They have to prove it was intentional. All this noise doesn’t help.

I was there. An accidental foul that resulted in an unfortunate injury. Overreacting on both sides. Hope the injured player heals up soon.

Here is a breakdown of what happened from the side of the girl’s family…

I highly doubt the girl elbowed her in the face on purpose. But what I do know of Jim Lagarde, everything else could absolutely be true.

was there a card issued on the play? was it on video? if not, the legal case will be expensive. i'm wondering if someone will start a go fund me for either cause:

                  1. to help with medical recovery
                  2. to hire massive army of lawyers and sure csa, tournament and then the refs

this #2 approach could be better than going pro

Out of curiosity, what on earth could someone sue for here?

Don’t know about you but when I think of reputable information, I think TikTok.

TikTok!? What adult person is making TikTok videos regarding this kind of accusation and situation? How can they expect to be taken seriously?

Yes, I hear we are seeing lots of U15 girls walking around with broken noses from a soccer game. It's so frequent, it's not intentional, totally by accident!

I posted the Link. I never claimed it was the “truth” but rather what one party is claiming. It doesn’t matter what forum the claim is made really….you have a video of a family member outlining what went down from their perspective.

I also said that I know the coach in question, and based on what I know, this is not a preposterous claim at all. I wasn’t there, but this story is legitimately plausible, again…solely based on my experience with this coach

I am sure it was accidental. Did the coach in question say “welcome to the game” after?
