Blaming the club is just silly. This is a GA problem as the clubs and coaches are realizing it’s not what’s it was cracked up to be. Ylon should really be coaching ECNL as he is higher caliber. GA lucky to have him.

I saw the 04 or 05 girls they were really skilled, fast, and their GK was phenomenal.
I don’t think W or L is as important as talent.
The STA team I watched and their opponent were very talented.

It seems none of these ECNL clubs is far superior to STA. None of these scores are washouts.

So then where are these kids going? Only 3 u15 ECNL teams in state and they’re all over rostered. Sure they are opportunistic but they’re not the ones taking everyone leaving this team.

STA 06 GA lost 4 kids to PDA Blue, 2 went CSA Bergen. Before GA started in the fall 1 kid went to East Meadow ECNL and 1 kid went to World Class ECRL team. 4 kids went to PSA North.

I saw the latter two games as Ds game was waiting to start. WC and MF were superior teams but STA were competitive and good games.

I dont think you are aware of the happenings on that team. Maybe not all 12 of those girls were starters but more than half were. They need players right now. its was never a matter of superior players taking positions

Y’all clueless. The club is a great club. This has to do with the league as both players and coaches are realizing (unfortunately) that the GA failed to live up to expectations (at least so far). Patience is key but a lot of people don’t have it and move on.

These "STA are great, it's the GA that sucks" comments just don't hold water. STA loses TWO '06 coaches in the middle of the spring, forcing others to double and triple up, creating havoc with schedules and cancellations, kids going weeks without matches. Must just be bad luck.
