There may be a few kids out of Bloomfield - but they started intown - only one "mercenary" as far as I know.
true by all over not meaning they get players in from far away, but they are not limited to Bloomfield. I know they have players from neighboring towns on their travel teams.

but I agree they do great work with developing those kids.

Every team in this age group punts and runs, even AS Junior do it when they're desperate and Red Bulls do it sometimes too. It's whether a team can do anything else besides punt. Most teams at this age are only somewhat successful at building out. I notice more teams trying to teach kids to do more than punt recently like Liverpool, FA, and CSA (not sure about Bloomfield). CSA and FA in particular revert to punting when they are losing and build if they are winning. At least coaches are trying to do more this season. U12 is basically the same. Hope your kid is ready to header away a thousand long balls per game.

I did not think Bloomfield did the punt and run, but they certainly played the ball out to midfield to their best player. Call that whatever you want...

Bloomfield doesn’t Punt at all…they always build out of the back. Beautiful Soccer! I can’t even believe what I keep seeing about Bloomfield. It has to be their own parents.

I'm sorry but without Bloomfields CM who's from New York, they wouldn't win a game. He's always the best player on the field.

That's false. Terrific player and amazing from a technical sense - but it's not like they just give him the ball and let him do his thing. His presence in the midfield certainly helps to control and disrupt, but they have a lot of ways to win. And enough talent around around pitch to compete regardless.

                    Hi,

Anybody know the results of these games in U11B? The scores are not on the EDP site:

                    4/24:
Westfield Boomers - Cedar Stars Academy Hudson Valley (Premier III)
Kearny Thistle United FC B2012 - Cedar Stars Academy North Newark U11 (Premier V)

                    5/1
Cedar Stars Academy North Bergen U10 Boys Pre-Academy - Titanes SC Chicharitos (Premier III)
Westfield Boomers - Greater Flemington CAPS (Premier III)
Jackson SC Lions Red - Futboltech 2011 Chelsea (Premier II)

They 100% give him the ball and let him do his thing, but who doesn't do that with their Mids? It's very safe to say he makes average kids on his team look very good. Not taking anything away from the other boys on the team, they are fast and skilled no doubt. But their CM controls and distributes so they get him the ball, its not punt and run at all; its also not building from the back.

Also, it is more difficult now as The FA, CSA Bergen, Red Bulls, Liverpool NJ others switch and swap players between "teams" at this age group. The team at JFF is looking to have an emergency meeting this week. We may hear something from them by week's end.
CSA doesn't share kids across teams for the 2011's, only occasionally to replace vacancies...A / B team are mostly set.

Ummm he is not from New York and actually he did not score or assist in the game, but yes he is a very good player

I saw the game. Bloomfield has a defender who is really good. He defends and attacks well...even scored a goal. Both their center mids are amazing on the ball and their ball skills I would say are as good as any other center mid on any team in the league. They also had a forward that did very well too. So they have many good players...not just one. Its a fact.

One player does not win games. If they did not have other talent they could not do as well as they have done. I disagree.

Center mids should have the ball the most...no?
