Hopefully EDP does better Spring 2022. The top 2-3 flights were correct and the close records indicate that. The rest of the flights were all over the place. blowouts, no reported scores, forfeits, 2 hour travel, teams ducking matches and not replaying...Comment

Top flights were not correct at all. AS Junior not winning a game, scoring 8 total goals in 7 games and giving up 44. STA doing almost as bad with their only win over AS Junior. They gave up less goals but that was a result of packing everyone back on defense and trying not to lose too bad. Futboltech dropped out after getting beat pretty good in their first few games. CSA Monmouth and Dutchmen were just as bad as AS Junior. Even Morris Elite has no business being in the top flights. I would say 6 of those teams being in the top flight of 19 teams were a HUGE miss. Those 6 teams combined for 7 wins and thats only because they had to play each other.Originally posted by Guest View PostComment

AS juniors are sellers and should be dropped while STA and Morris Elite are going to gain new players even as quick as this winter. STA are not a top flight team and don’t have top flight players, the team has regressed not improved. They have some club name recognition and keep ending up in the top flight and performing badly. Almost all of their wins in the past year and a half are against the other teams with no positive results. Time to drop them down a flight where they belong. I know wins and losses don’t matter but their games have not been good enough. They need to add an entire new squad not just attract a few quality players.

Morris Elite Spring 2021. 0 wins - 6 losses.
Morris Elite Fall 2020. not in top flight
same thing with Morris Elite. They regressed in the past year. They should not be in the top flight even if they add players.

STA and AS JR played much better soccer than a lot of other teams in the group. Long balls and run is short lived and doesn’t teach anything.Comment

That description is exactly what I have seen from the AS Junior team. Punt everything from the goalie, goal kicks are a 2 yard pass and then kick it as far as you can to anyone blindly. STA just sits everyone back to play defense and sends long balls to get some breathing room. I would not call either of those teams teaching anything.
