Any players that go to FA now are fools, we left and parents will continue to leave. Too many players, too many colors and too many clicks that make decisions for the team. They also tell you are on the black team, then you find your son playing for a different color. Good luck if you get sucked into the Vacuum.

Huge drop off after that. La Liga is total garbage. Crying and diving. Seri A at least has respectable defense. Ligue 1 is awful. MLS is right there in the groups after that with some decent eredivisie teams

Many of the town clubs in the surrounding area aren't known for being great, so many from those town teams flocked to the FA even though it's really just CFC rebranded. Being a for-profit academy with startup bills to pay, I don't see a reason for them to not take the money and pack their teams and programs. The lesser players will naturally fall off or not be invited back in subsequent seasons.
That being said, player to coach ratio at FA isn't ideal when you get upwards of 30 players at each practice with a single coach. The town clubs generally assign one "qualified" coach to each team (some also make use of daddy coaches or supplemental skill coaches). This is good or bad depending on the coach you get stuck with and whether or not the child fits in with the rest of the team. I've seen one bad/disruptive kid bring down the entire team, and town clubs generally don't address this since they guarantee your child a certain percentage of play for each and every game. This makes them less competitive. However, a free movement system would deal with this situation quickly. With a large club/academy, there might be upwards of 40 games in a season for a particular age group. You are only guaranteed 6-8 games per season, so obviously, the top players will be invited to more games. The worst kid in the age group might only be invited to 6.
If anyone recalls, MFA was initially contracted for the FA practice space, but that never happened.

With a large free movement club/academy, you won't always be playing with the same players. Early on they try to appease parents and keep carpools groups together, but ultimately they move the players where they should be. This is great to break up incoming cliques of both parents and players. Eventually, you'll be be seeing mostly the same faces at the games once the teams are more solidified, but you can't do much about that.
Annoying parents who try to push their agendas like they did with town clubs seem to get their children penalized. Parents who just show up to practice and games when requested get more play time. Of course if you have one of the better players, they are going to give a little more leeway.

30 players and 1 Coach only is wild. But all of our academies do the same. It’s a business model at the end of the day. This happens at FA, CSA, Liverpool, STA. Not really sure about RB- but I would assume the same is happening. It’s a business man mentality, some of these foreign coaches that have an accent didn’t even play soccer at their country. They came here for a better life style and soccer Market is not saturated as it was for them back at home. Pick wisely for your boys. This is the time where they should be learning and developing.

This doesn't happen everywhere.
