Can you imagine... one club that is so powerful, and omnipresent that is takes up 90% of the discussions on these crazy soccer boards? I mean really if you can’t beat em (which clearly you can’t) JOIN EM!
PDA’s record of D1, NT and professional placements is unparalleled- add to that they basically control ECNL and the northeast, stop the hate and just (if your kid can make a team) sign up! It’s really that simple. If PDA is a viable option for you can’t see why you wouldn’t play for them! AND DESPITE WHAT YOU ALL WILL SAY - my kid does not play for PDA - but if it worked geographically and she could make the team she sure would! No better option if your kid wants D1! It’s the truth - sad for some but true!

Think about IT! This plucky group of kids were just coming off a high school season, had to travel for SEVERAL hours flying commercial airlines, arriving in HIGH humidity and SEARING heat, poor FIELD conditions, referees clearly showing their BIAS for the opposition, mean FANS, a format which is set to FAVOR the international competition, cold hotel showers, several players suffering from the COVID, a toilet paper SHORTAGE, and BF problems back at home for several players! After all that, they STILL managed to take the Mighty Barca to the brink of sure defeat. The film over their adventure is in the works, it will be a mix of Bad News Bears and "The 33".

PDA must be reading these forums because they just posted a consolidated list of all their players and all the colleges they are going to, big and small. Good for those girls.
Clearly some kids going to Rutgers but how is that any different than local kids going their to play football, baseball, basketball...etc
I don’t get all the fuss. Rutgers is a good school with great education programs. But if you’re sour about one school and their relationship with one club, then it’s your own fault for not being smarter about your school selection. Take a look at Monmouths roster, plenty of PDA kids that didn’t go to Rutgers.

That would be worse as Rutgers coaches would indicate their club training sucks. Every large succesful club has ties to colleges locally, its obvious when you check college rosters.
