    Bingo! The universities are in a world of hurt due to the economic losses incurred from Coronavirus. Look for slashing of athletic programs and less athletic scholarships- no reason to incur athletic costs if seasons won’t be played!

    And the loss of athletic scholarships means the beginning of the end for the high priced youth soccer leagues. When the carrot of an athletic scholarship is no longer there - the national leagues that offer “exposure” lose their allure.
    Good point the trickle down effect will be big on the youth soccer industry....

      At this point its premature to think the college and youth sports landscape will completely dissolve, we are 2 months into this virus. Yes, things will change but until some real direction appears it premature to throw away dreams and future plans until things level out.
