That was their NPL team with a few ECNL kids on the roster. Still a poor showing though

You mean the NPL team comprised of kids that were told they were ECNL players, but haven’t played ECNL + some ECNL kids.

        Poor business...poor policies...poor kids

Yup. But don't say that to MF Soccer Mom she gets very defensive of her club. Blinded by whats happening around them. I feel bad for the 'B' level kids and their families. Although it keeps happening over and over. People keep falling for the Con every year

Speaking of MF Soccer Mom—she hasn’t been around. Perhaps she is reading the fine print this year.

Those same kids/parents who were told they were early offered ECNL last year but never played ECNL (relegated immediately to NPL on day one of the season), were early offered ECNL AGAIN! And us parents took it, once again, under the threat of payment deadlines and the “hope” of playing ECNL one day. Instructed though by administration to read the fine print.

Those same poor early offer players will be the core of the Montclair United 3rd team for 2005 and bench/practice players for 2006 or relegated to ECNL Regional League team while DB and JR look far and wide for “true” ECNL players to staff up to maximum roster size of 30. But will still roster only 15 for games.

2006 is a mess, 2005 is a disaster. Write your checks! Deadline for full payment is here, future is bright!

Oh she is watching and reading just not commenting. and she doesn't care about the fine print. She has been around a while and is too far up DBs butt to see the truth

I feel for the families / kids for what you went through this season, but why sign again? There is no way anyone could potentially think things would get better when you watch the same thing even happening at the younger ages. Look at the 08’s—majority of this year’s A team has been relegated to B as they brought in new talent to fill the A spots. Kids don’t have a chance to move up. Your kids are not being developed, checks being cashed in order to ensure construction continues at Florham Park for the next set of parents to see the amazing progress being made.

The money isn't going to Florham Park facility. It goes into their pockets. Matchfit won't own any facility anywhere. Just tenants again.

The one's that re-sign believe their kids are better than they are and really think their kids have a chance at ECNL. They also are led to believe that the new ECNLR is a good league. Its ok if your kid is not at the level of ECNL but the problem is MF doesn't care about the 'B' or 'C' level kids/teams. Parents are just wasting their money because MF will never develop them. Its a shame because as a business you would think ALL paying customers would get their money's worth but not happening if your at MF

Nope. I come on here for the Bucci Bashing. But to say GDA is the answer is BS. Not one GDA team in the NE sticks to the standards set forth by US Soccer. Look STA letting kids play HS if they want, and only planning on 2 or 3 practices a week! At least they are honest about not accepting the standards they are supposed to follow

HS play has always been allowed by USSF through waivers. Its kind of unfair because not everyone gets it but it is still a USSF standard. And yes we will be 4 days a week with STA. How many DA standards are you aware of? What other standards are all of these clubs not following? Has your D played for a DA club around here? Most people who comment have never been part of a DA team so don't really know first hand. Considering DA is just finishing its second year not many have much experience with it.

Tim? Nah dude, I got so many emails from you all trying to get my kid, but she is very happy where she is. Even if you did offer to let her train with the ECNL boys for the first year. You knew she wouldn’t be challenged with the girls you took

STA always had 3 practices a week, even before GDA, as do most other small clubs.

PDA was the worst offender of GDA - 2 practices a week (3rd if you paid extra). And same old bloated rosters. No wonder their teams always fail miserably on the national stage. Same players showcasing themselves for colleges.

Anyway, Match Fit can get away with anything because of FOMO parents. Copying the worst pay-to-play practices from PDA.
