why ? they are friends. Now you are getting ridiculous. Do you know how small the soccer world is? Especially if you are a top level player? They all know each other. They train together, have been going to camps together . Workout in the offseason together. the top end is tiny. Maybe thats the disconnect here

Why bother with this guy talking about how all the clubs are equal. Obviously either a MF coach or parent defending the club. Misery loves company. Only way they survive is to drag every other club down to their level. I popped on here this afternoon and he was doing the same stuff. Waste of time.

so why are they still in existence?

ECNL Patch. If they didn't have the ECNL they might as well go out of business. And this is coming from a parent with a kid at the club. Not thrilled with it but its the most convenient option. I take it for what it is and don't have the highest expectations. I wish it wasn't so expensive and the generators drive me nuts.

if you have been here all afternoon, you know im far from miserable. Very happy with where my kids are at. And very sure that clubs are to be used for what they offer, with eyes wide open. They all offer the same thing. Use it as you see fit, but lets not pretend that because one club has more talent than another they are any better for you than the rest.

Really? Ashley, Cook , Kerner, Blackwood, Demarco, Jennings x2 off the top of my head. PDA has not done better over the same period. DO you think those player would have stayed if they were getting nothing from it ?
