One could deduce that a decent town team could probably beat 06 MF with a score of 8-0..

For the delusional parents that are blinded by the ECNL badge, consider those results...

If you want to see what the future of women’s soccer looks like, and if you want to get a sense of how bad ECNL soccer is, watch what a younger Barcelona team did to PDA recently —>

That video is hilarious.. The announcer says some pretty funny stuff.. “Will PDA be able to adapt when they realize the high press is not working“ and “ They are going to get really tired chasing the ball like that“..

NJ ECNL soccer at its finest... LOL.

At least PDA brings a bunch of subs to the game so they can have a bunch of other kids high press and chase when their starters get tired.. Jordan and Dom (Matchfit) are so dumb because they try to apply the same method but with only two or three subs...

Who cares about winning. Why pay that much for nonsense training? Go have fun on a town team.

I live very close to where match fit trains and it would be much easier to get too then where they are at now. Any honest help would be appreciated.
        - Training is better at other clubs for 05
        - More training at other clubs for 05
        - If you want ECNL the other clubs in area are more organized clubs with more to offer
        - Other ECNL clubs are cheaper
        - If you want DA you will get more training year round and weekly, more exposure for less money but no HS
        - MR is not a bad 07 trainer but you can get something similar at young age for less cost out of pocket
        - Out of the major clubs in the area MF is closest to a town team fighting over fields

Atmosphere is excellent. The majority of the team have been together for 3/4 years. My suggestion would be to check it out. There are a lot of haters out there. We don't play on the 05 or 07, but our experience is polar opposite to what is described here.
My kid is on B team 05 and yes they always send kids down and take spots. Place is a joke. Everything last minute. Not organized at all.

To be transparent you should know what they posted this morning about their unestablished club. But hey just trust them LOL

“ NJ Fire is a club that once established will rival a lot of the local clubs. It might take some time but we’ll get there. Trust the process.”

Aah. That’s the famous 2002 team. When they say you’ve been on the team 3/4 years - that’s just 9 months. Most of the ppl quit, and new players were brought on.

DB should have hired FK and MK for his program . Now is too late , MK Fire is at the door knocking .

I assume your 06...that has had their core players for a few years....can you tell us how many 06s are listed on the ECRL team?

Yes MF and ECNL works if your a top 5/6 player but every year older than U14 brings in newer/better players at high school age who all want to play and be seen in ECNL...so the core starts to fade some..

My point was that they really don't put much of an effort into development as they know
and have come to rely on the draw of ECNL once girls get to U15...

The girls were all generally very nice and a few of the coaches are good...but for a new 05 joining she would need to be a top player for it to make sense.
No my kid is 03 / U17. Had an excellent experience. We have 18 kids on roster but three are currently injured, so we have 15 per game at the moment. Not sure what the experience is like in the other age groups as we keep ourselves to ourselves, but we are happy with the coaching, ability to play HS, level of the team, continuity of the team. All the things I hear on here are not what my daughter has experienced. We have been there for 3/4 years now. Was a bit messy at the start but settled down quickly.

Why would anyone join at younger than U15 when you point out that majority of the team is replaced.

Obviously people that got bumped in the last 3 years are not very happy with continuity?

When you can’t develop, you recruit. And here ECNL badge is the lure.

I never said that. Majority of the team has been together for three years. You are making things up to support your agenda.

I think it’s still listed on this forum how one spring 3 years ago 6 girls joined from another club. Just look at the old posts.

The facts don’t support your story.

I’m not that sad that I would troll through talking soccer archives. I will leave that to the haters. I said my daughters team have pretty much had the same group for 3/4 years. Not sure what happened prior and don’t really care. We have had continuity to grow since u14 and it’s been a productive time
