Is Matchfit Shore 09 ECNL losing both goalkeepers?

Yea the one that controlled MF’s midfield and back line for years which also kept PDA to only 1 goal and two ties the last two times they played each other. From the look of Saturdays game she was missed on MF.

Bad look for MF when an 80 min player is willing to give it up to be a bench player for another team.

The defense on that 2nd goal was 100% at fault. The PDA’s forward received the pass about 40 yards from goal with 3/4 defenders in front of her and not a single defender stepped to her at all. She shot the ball from about 25 yards out. Never once did anyone get close enough to put pressure on her.

More blame games. Sometimes the expectation should be that the goalie makes a play now and then. Blown coverage happens but this type of mind bending happens AFTER EVERY GOAL. All I hear is that the goal was bull**** because of x defender and there was no shot of a save. That happens as well as opposing players being allowed to make good shots, but there is zero accountability going on. Every big game we have must save opportunities and they're fumbled. There is a reason that DB is yelling at your kid. I might not agree with the tone, but it's a habit.

I've watched this team play many times against my kids team. I can honestly say that they goalie is one of, if not THE, best goalies I've ever seen. She has a bright future ahead of her. I read somewhere on line that she's attending one of the most prestigious soccer tournaments in the world, the Maccabi European Games in the UK. How impressive is that? I don't see one other goalie in NJ, make that on the east coast, attending this tournament. To be hand selected just shows how amazing this young lady is. No wonder people say she's the best player at MF. Her parents must be doing something right!

They also play a different 3 back defense so I’m sure when they go to a 4 back another starting defender will be added to the field. Either way, PDA plays a better style so she found a good place to learn the game.

If she's getting starts with the top team in the country I'm not sure why parents from Match fit are trying to question her decision to move.
