Is that normal to see that many leave each year at other ECNL clubs?

Unfortunately, you can't compare the three kids that left this year with the ones that left last year. Big difference is none of the girls that left this year were starters. Also, two of the girls were lucky to get 10 min a game. One kid blew off MF training and games for ODP. (Doesn't matter if you think MF training sucks, the primary commitment should always be club first.) My understanding is she did this for the last two years and DB finally had enough. Second girl came over from PDA South and honestly, couldn't compete at the level the shore 09 team. She really was out of her league on the team, hence to 10 min playtime (if she was lucky.) Honestly, she should have never come on the team to begin with. And if that wasn't enough, her father was a nightmare on the sidelines, always complaining how his kid wasn't out there. He was so bad, the other MF parents were like "this guys an *******", and that's pretty bad when you consider the reputation the shore parents have. The third girl, who was actually the best of the three, just decided she wanted to pursue Lacrosse. Give her credit for following her heart. She was the only one that quit, the other 2 were kicked off the team.

Actually she is. DB put up with this family for a long time. The other goalie last year was much better, but JB drove her and the family away. To make matters worse for the existing goalie, she had a horrible game against PDA Blue. Score should have been 0-4 but the ref called offsides. The new goalie was there sitting on the bench watching the game. The one time the old goalie should have stepped it up, she didn't.

Why would they add another goalie when the one they have is evidently already the best in the galaxy? It can't just be because the PDA game. Maybe just to make sure the old goalie's water bottle is filled at all times.

Their DraftKings odds of winning a national championship went from 0% to 1% after the new GK was added so the bookmakers disagree.

Rumour has it PDA Blue offered the current MF goalie a starting position. Makes perfect sense. The best in the state belongs on the best team in the state.
