ODP East Region Camp Invites

I'm calling bull**** on that. I'm affiliated with USYS and I can confirm NO kids received offers that didn't deserve them. Attendance was a major factor in offers, as well as performance. My guess is you feel your child deserved an invite and didn't receive one. I suggest that if you know for fact about what you claim, send Erika from ODP a email with the names and I can guarantee she will look into this.

Sir/Madam can you tell us how many kids on average are chosen for every birth year. I'm specifically asking for my daughter's age - 2011 girls. And do they chose roughly the same amount of girls from every state?

Maybe the kid was spectacular and got injured but they wanted to give the kid a second chance as they saw true potential there

This kis wasn't injured. She is a friend of my Ds and yes a good player but she QUIT ODP back in Nov.

Decisions are made based on NJ coaches recommendation and scouts IDing the players at the PA regionals. If the kid wasn't there for the tourney then decision was based on a stellar rec from NJ coach alone. Anyway how many 2011 girls were chosen?

I can't believe you are all crying over who got selected and who didn't. If your kid didn't get selected, so what? It's not the end of the world and just move on. If it bothers you so much, don't do ODP next year. And honestly, I know a ton of parents thay think their kid is better than what they really are. Could it be possible your kid isn't as good as you think?

08 parent here, one did quit months ago and the other has been injured and won't be back in time for East ID.

I think people are upset because these kids don't deserve it this year. Both those kids mentioned were on the region team last year but that should give them a free pass especially when then don't make events or practices.
