Huh. Theres too much hate in you for this white program. You are either a outside club coach or your daughter was somehow affected by either not making the team or got screwed on the team.

Can use all caps if you have trouble with vision or smaller words if comprehension is an issue.

And lists mean nothing in the big picture regardless. The kid is who determines what direction their education decision takes not what soccer club commit list they end up on.

Where do the older ages for shore fit in? They have been consistent over the years. They are RRCL and don’t pretend to be anything but that. A few players over the years left to be on the north white team to be in ECNL, but usually left after they realized blue is all that matters up there anc they are paying more to fund it. The blue shore team is still seen as their A team for ERCL. Why isn’t shore respected as a ERCL team only? Now after the father came into running it, I will say the retention, quality coaches hired and fired, and ignoring younger ages, has ruined any future. I’m sure they may end up lucky with a few players from a team disgruntled looking for a new home but they absolutely have not developed the low level young players. The ERCL labeled blue tide lost every game they pay in low level competition. No one in their right mind with skill will even approach that team. But for the older teams why would they seem unworthy when they are very well aware they are only the ERCL team?

People need to stop saying “only ECRL”. The PDA Blue ECRL team could beat the pants off of the 2009 ECNL White team. They never let them play each other. For that age group, they should switch the ECNL badge to PDA Shore. Do what MFA did, shift the badge to the best team regardless of location. People say they are “only ECNL” but they are the A team out of that location.

I am not a fan of second teams. They usually get short changed in resources and coaching, however, when it comes to white during the recruiting years, the team is worth a second look. The ecnl has the best recruitment platform. The platform is not the end all - be all but it certainly helps significantly in showcasing talent to college coaches.

For some reason the white used to be considered more of a feeder but good teams-- now its simply the lower level B team. They don't compete at the highest level in any showcase or tournaments (usually placed in the 3-6 bracket) - limiting their visibility to college coaches. This wasn't the case in the past. They scrimmage against the younger teams, get the worst fields and left over coaches. So, if you only care about the badge then go for it. Otherwise look elsewhere.

The White club has better coaches than most first ECNL teams and certainly better than any GA, USYS, or ECRL club.

My daughter plays on white and the coach is great. She plays a ton of minutes against some very talented teams. We get good fields to use and normally go to the same tournaments as blue. It is as people say the Notth B team but we are ok with that as the blue players who plays the same positions are better. We have no regrets about being here at all and find a lot of these comments laughable. Enjoy the time with your kids !

What is their recruiting record like for high school?

Can’t speak for the older groups but if you are thinking about college recruitment at any age over 08 then they as a parent, take clearly delusional. Not you, but just trying to even think that far ahead is insane. What I do know is they keep lean roster sizes, have renowned training, and quality teams throughout. One would argue to train at NJ Premier and possibly transition at a later age to an A team if that is the ambition.

Your daughter must be a younger player. However, all White ECNL are ranked very low. They don’t win. So sorry but if your daughter plays a lot on White that means she is partially responsible for their terrible performance. That is harsh sorry but true.

Also, you can see if White plays the same things as Blue and they don’t. For example, some Blue teams went to the Jefferson Cup, White did not. This week is the ECNL event in South Carolina - White won’t attend that. They never have the standings to compete in the Championship at the end of the year. PDA won’t send them to the same things as Blue because where do you put them in a bracket? You can’t put them in a top bracket or even second bracket. Then they end up being flighted under ECRL teams.
