If that many kids leave it’s because they are not happy. Some kids are not going to continue to play, a few are going to Blaze not all the freehold boys, a few are going to other academies. The coach/ trainer writing the original post was just what a few of us needed to make our decision to leave.

This is nuts. Lots of town teams start breaking up around U14 - some kids stop playing, some kids (or parents) think they are going pro, some kids focus on other sports. I don’t get why people are commenting on the internet about some 13 year old boys wanting to move to another team. My son is also a 2009, and there’s a good chance his team will also break up this fall (I just hope people don’t behave like this if that does happen).

They are going to apply to play in USYS NL. However, since they are a brand new team, they may or may not get accepted. If they don't get accepted then they would most likely play in EDP level 3. It seems kind of strange that a club can create a brand new team that primarily consists of EDP L4/L5/L6 players and then potentially leap frog into NL while an existing team even with a whole new set of players would need to win and get promoted multiple seasons to end up in NL.
