    Blaze 2009 Boys

What an embarrassment. Trying hard to get this team off the ground. They just destroyed the Monmouth United Team so half the disloyal nomadic boys can all go there. Do parents not realize what they are getting into with FK??? TS- you did those boys so dirty from the start in Freehold and now they haven’t had a solid place to go in years. Following you is the biggest mistake these people can make. Don’t you get tired of getting new uniforms every season following TS from club to club.

This post makes no sense. What is "TS - you did those boys so dirty from the start in Freehold" mean??? Half of this team is coming from the best players from the PSA "B" team. FK is not the coach of this particular team. I applaud Blaze for forming a new NL/EDP 2009 boys team in this area because Matchfit shore doesn't have one and the PSA "B" team is pretty bad playing in EDP 5 and the CSA "B" team is also pretty bad finishing last place in NEAL. So it opens the door for another quality team. Yes, it will be behind CSA A team and PSA A team but if they get to play in NL then it will be another option for boys that live in the area. I'm afraid Monmouth United and town teams like this tend to fall apart at this age level as kids are starting to position themselves for college recruiting trying to get onto the best team possible and I'm afraid playing in EDP won't do it.

I actually agree with what you say. I’m specifically referring to a person, TS, a 2009 coach who specifically did dirty, these boys that follow him.

This is stupid. How dumb can one be? First of all, the freehold team was breaking up as a whole. Now, blaze is known to be good, specifically their 08 team who are top 5 in the state. Why wouldn’t you want to leave a team who is 40th in the state for a team that can potentially become very good within a year.

If that were the case, the kids wouldn’t be following TS to their FOURTH home in as many years. These boys will bomb at NJ Blaze just like they did at Monmouth United. They were never good to begin with and got hyped by daddy ball coaches. We stopped following them three years ago as they hop from
club to club. Much happier being loyal. Regardless TS sold these boys a load of crap here after year and now they ended up at the worst place.

All of these post are just uncalled for and ridiculous. I am a current parent on the MU boys 09 team, who has been reconsidering returning next year. I will be at tryouts, but I am not sure what my son will do yet. I have been keeping my eyes and ears open, and the way the coach has been behaving, is making me reconsider. Someone from the team shared this post with me, and I have a feeling I know who the person posting is. If it is who I think it is, you are behaving like a child and unprofessional. I hope I am wrong!

If anyone leaves any club for a different club, that is their right to do so. No one has loyalty to you or to the club. We parents are paying the club not the other way around. Our current 09 team is like a rec team, no development, unless you pay for extra training, practice consists of the same drill and scrimmages, while the coach talks to parents on the sideline for 80% of the time. If a lot of kids decide to leave the team, it’s not because they are disloyal, it’s because the team is no longer working for them. If kids decide to all stick together and go elsewhere, they are free to do so. Enough with the ridiculous post about 13 year old boys, no matter what your opinion is of them. Maybe, their current coach has his priorities all wrong, instead of worrying about making money with all the extra sessions, he should worry about teaching his teams about what is needed at practice instead of having them pay more to learn at extra sessions. This is such an unfortunate situation for my family. My son has enjoyed being on this team for the last 5 years with his friends, but he is not learning anything. Is MU worth the cost, I don’t think so. We will see how tryouts go and decide from there. But we are considering going to the local rec team.

You're obviously not a parent with the current team, but thanks anyway.

We’ll said post #10 the MU coach /trainer doesn’t do his job at practice he has the boys just run scrimmages the whole time and afterwards he calls the parents and says your son needs more training to catch up to the other boys and then offers private sessions at a high rate , he also signs the boys up to as many tournaments as possible and over charges for that. for a 250 tournament fee he enters 2 teams 19 kids 65 each Where does all this extra money go . With past teams we had a monthly itemized email showing where every penny goes , but with this guy we get nothing, who has an end of season pizza party for the kids and asks for money to buy the pizza don’t you think you’ve made enough money off of these boys , hopefully the rest of the parents open up there eyes and see this coach for what he is swift academy taking this cash cow all the way to the bank . Good luck to all the boys that stay there be aware he also is a liar telling parents that the team is 2 steps away from nationals what a joke

So if you are a current parent than you should know your team is about to bust. All of those Freehold boys are listening to and following Tal to Blaze. So you should probably make other arrangements, ****ty coach or not.
