It is official....White was moved to NA to take over Souths spot as PDA South was put on notice for this coming year. PDA South hasn't put out a training schedule yet and is making excuses as to why the only tournaments they are doing are local ones. I expect ECNL NE will be courting NEFC to fill that spot.

This is false. Our team has put out the training schedule all the way to November and have put place holders on 2 tourneys. Neither of which are local.

PDA South couldn't compete with Real, CSA or SJEB in ANY age group. Lets see how PDA South did at Jeff Cup since it is one of the ONLY times South played outside ECNL.

U13 - 4th flight and went 1-1-1 against 2 EDP teams and GFRSC which is an RL club
Real played in 3rd bracket, went 1-1-1 and tied VDA ECNL
SJEB played 2nd bracket and went 2-1 and won over 2 ECNL clubs in Pipeline and NCFC and lost to Minnesota Thunder ECNL. How did South do against Pipeline during the season? 0-1-1 with the loss being 11-1

U14 - 6th flight and went 3-0 against Celtic GA and a pair of EDP level teams and lost 3-0 in finals against Sporting DE GA
SJEB played 3rd bracket and went 1-2
Sporting DE GA played flight 6 and went 2-0-1 with the tie coming against Skyline and won the finals 3-0 over PDA South ECNL

U15 - 4th flight and went 0-3
CSA Wayne played 1st bracket going 1-2
SJEB GA played 4th bracket and went 2-1 with win over EM ECNL and lose to Minnesota Thunder
Real played 2nd bracket going 0-3

U16 - No TEAM
Real 1st bracket and went 1-1-1 against all ECNL teams
SJEB played 2nd bracket and went 0-1-2 tying EM ECNL and Cleveland Force ECNL

U17 - 3rd flight and went 3-0 with wins against an EDP team and RL team
Real played 1st bracket and went 0-3
SJEB GA played 3rd bracket and went 1-2

So never was any South team flighted above SJEB or Real and none of their teams were flighted higher then 3rd. SJEBs lowest was a single 3rd bracket. Real had 2 teams in top bracket a 2nd and 3rd. The ONLY head to head with a South team vs local GA were the 08s vs Sporting and they lost 3-0 which is as bad as any ECNL team did against them in their division except PF and Blue and the Sporting team was 4th in their GA division.

Sorry but all signs point to South sucking. They aren't pulling in the top talent or even the 2nd best talent in the area as players have gone to SJEB, Real, Sporting, Delco and PF in southern NJ and central NJ has girls going to PDA North, MF and CSA Monmouth. When will South parents face facts that PDA South doesn't care about your kid and has no plan to even attempt to win or showcase your kid at a higher level. SJEB and CSA both have teams that have played in the GA national which has already shown to have as good as college coach attendance as any ECNL event. Why play for a club that can't even make the lowest national showcase, check it out, PDA South sent 0 teams to the national showcase?

I just checked our teamsnap. Games for both fall and spring listed already, as well as 3 tournaments in the fall, which none are in NJ. I think maybe you need to lay off the cough medicine.

Hate to burst your bubble my juicy friend, but a little birdie told me thay not only will South be in the ECNL next season, but also the following. When the club was added they were put on a 5 year trial period. This is only their third. Also, there is talk about adding the shore location to the ecnl. Ouch. I bet that stings. With PDA sitting on the ECNL board, I doubt very much they would remove thier own clubs you sausage smuggler.

No matter what club it is, PDA, MFA, PSA, STA, etc.... it's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. For anyone to think otherwise is just silly.

Money is fine but you don't get it with out credibility. ECNL corporate will not allow PDA to abuse the region as its personal piggies bank. Adding in very poor and under performing satellite clubs that obviously can't compete is bad for the credibility of ECNL as having the best. PDA will still do fine if South loses the patch. South had teams before it after all. They may lose the 20+ player rosters and a few 2nd teams but it is a drop in the bucket overall for them.

Get over it, South will be gone after this year. Anyone thinking otherwise is only fooling themselves. My personal guess is they drop to RL where they should have been for 2 or 3 years before moving up.

To the 5 year guy, 5 years is way to long a probation period. That is u13 going completly through ECNL. You can tell a clubs progress after 1 and worthyness after 2. South has done nothing to improve its players. If you think they have then you know absolutely nothing about soccer.
