In our time at PDA we didn’t find it to be a racist organization. It’s definitely a capitalist organization. Non profit my foot. It’s just one of the most non-diverse youth athletic programs you’ll see in NJ. Some may see that as a problem in one of the most accessible sports a kid can play which is the game of soccer.
I don’t think it’s conscious. It attracts top regional talent and then if you live within 45 minutes ride from the field and/or have a sibling/family member in the organization and can cut a sizable check to Patty Seitz your kid can fill up the second and third team rosters.
We were there. We saw it and we left but for other reasons.

Also, to say "all woman and POC coaches are highly qualified" is statistically highly unlikely.

From a statistical perspective, it's reasonable to assume that there are fewer qualified women since they make up a disproportionally smaller proportion of coaches relative to their proportion of the general population. This is not racist, it is statistics. I don't have the statistical breakdown of coaches who are POC, but from my D's experience at another ECNL club, there are actually more coaches that are POC than white male, so you might be correct that PDA discriminates. In either case, assuming coaches are or aren't qualified based on their gender and/or skin color is just a bad idea.
Also, to say "all woman and POC coaches are highly qualified" is statistically highly unlikely.
