People join those teams and know they travel, very upfront about it. So I don't think there's a sell. These people like it, some don't. But the ones that hate him are loud and probably going to attack this post.

The quality of this tournament seems to have diminished in recent years. Tophat, Jacksonville Armada, Michigan Hawks, Sunrise Prime FC and other top clubs were in every bracket a few years back.

If a team was interested they were in the “probably going” category. Then as we got closer the club asked for each player that wanted to go to commit financially, and if you weren’t going to let the team know. For the 2010 team, we knew about the intent to go at tryouts last year so had plenty of time to decide.

Crazy thing is that there are parents that think it's ok to have RT anywhere near their kids.... crazy

So many people assuming the families are unhappy with their situation. Ultimately they're the ones to decide if the event or the entire year was a bad experience, not others. If there's an exodus to other teams for next year you have your answer
