I guess it’s what people want to assume is going on. Promoting on social media, checking the time, timing the drills. I see John Newman answering calls in the middle of his session. That doesn’t mean they’re bad or not paying attention—just like at work when you check your phone.

That’s a great point. I’ve heard PSA pay female coaches less than the males. Unfortunately when you have such terrible leadership in JN, OH, and DM you end up with pretty grumpy and sour employees. PSA is not only a terrible place to have your kids but the work environment isn’t good for anyone.

I’d like you to take note in your next big time corporate job meeting and see how many people sitting around the table check their phone or whisper to the person next to them. We’re talking about soccer. YOUTH soccer. Are you going to fire the doctor that walks into the room with his phone? Get over it.

This is well said. Sounds like a parents kid got cut from this place or didn't play much. They're talking about a part time, unpaid coach on a 9v9 team having a cell phone? Give me a break.

No, they’re talking about a paid coach at an academy where they pay over $3,000 a year to have their kid professionally trained.
