So maybe the original choice of school was wrong bc they thought they would play or or even just play. If your playing 10-15/game , that’s not enough for a competitive player who chose D1 in the first place.

My kid doesn’t play for Rutgers but I will chime in from her perspective. She was always the best, or one of, on mid to poor teams. When she was being recruited she was firm: Did not want to go into a team and start right away. She wanted to be on the best team she could (yes academics location finances etc) and have to work for it.
She got her wish. Her team will make noise in the thr NCAA’s and she hasn’t played much as a first year. She’s ok with it, for now. Probably even next year but by year 3 I expect something different
Its tougher on me than on her right now.
she could be playing on crappy teams but not what she wanted

I see the words: "didn't want to be on a crappy team", "work for it", "OK with it, for now", "Probably even next year, but by year 3 I expect something different".
In what world does someone read that, and think "this person likes it"?
Are you a good representative of the cranial density of all NJ posters, or are you the outlier?
