This won’t get better. As long as MO is there, the main goal will be to get as many PDA players as possible. The best girls are not going to Rutgers so he takes the average PDA players(or PDA south) As the PDA coaching director he is protecting his brand very well and will get a great paycheck on both sides. The question is still why such a huge conflict of interest is still accepted?!!

It is really hard for RU to build a fanbase within the soccer community of New Jersey(besidesPDA families) if so many shady things are going on.

They do well enough nost years to get by, and the pipeline from PDA gets thgem access to good players, so coach keeps job. At the same time, from teh PDA side they are able to place some of their in state kids at RU on partial scholarships to a state school, so parenyts are happy for the financial side and it shows them having college placements for marketing to younger club players. Its wins all around.

You dismiss everyone other than your kids club and yourself from having the affliction of knowing it all. Classic.

Turn in a decent performance year after year - maybe win a conference tile no and then, make a semi decent title run every few years, keep your head down and don't stir-up any controversy? Ride that train to retirement. Run some summer camps to pad your IRA. It's a good gig.

I've been to games over the years. RU gets a good crowd at the games. Football is improving, it will lift all other sports (money, recruiting, etc.) Just watch.

I don't think you give people credit. Jumping from club to many college programs is a leap. The workload both in classroom and on field increases. new surroundings (even if a player does stay local to his or her home), new everything.
Btw, my relatives played/play P5 and not all P5 teams and leagues are the same. Some clubs are better as far as training, facilities and the like. And some coaches are better on paper then actually coaching in a game situation. The P5 term is not a magic wand.
